Bin wieder einmal in meiner Arbeit auf dieses Problem gestoßen. Falls sich jemand wundert warum nach einer SNMP-Dienste Installation ein MSSQL-Server wegbricht:

If you are installing SNMP on a Windows 2003 SP2 server that has SQL server installed beware of the following.
The following services are automatically stopped without any notification to the user.
The following services are automatically stopped without any notification to the user.
- Microsoft SQL Server service (MSSQLSERVER)
- SQL Server Agent (SQLSERVERAGENT)
- MSDTC
These service are NOT restarted automatically.
If you downgrade to SP1 or are using any other O/S this does not happen.
This „feature“ does not appear to have been advertised by Microsoft upon release of SP2 for Windows 2003.
